The pottery wheel class is an experiential four-week course for 2 people, where you will slow down, relax, and immerse yourself in working with clay. During the individual sessions, you will gradually learn the basics of working on a potter's wheel and create your own original products. Each session lasts 2 hours, giving you plenty of time to truly enjoy the entire process. In the initial lessons, we will focus on throwing products on the wheel, followed by learning how to trim them. During the final meeting, you will glaze and finish your bisque-fired products. The course is designed to provide you with the basics, help you navigate the ceramic studio, and give you the confidence to return and create independently. The price includes: clay, tools/equipment, first firing, glazes (both powder and liquid), and second firing.
